FAIRWAY WOOD
Hovland carries one fairway wood, a TaylorMade Stealth Plus 15 degree.  His TaylorMade fairway wood is accompanied with a Fujikura Ventus Blue 7X shaft.  The TaylorMade Stealth Plus is known for its fast ball speeds and playability.
IRONS
Hovland is currently playing with a Titleist U505 utility iron and a set of Ping i210 irons.  The Ping i210 irons are not what you may think a tour player might play.  The i210s give Hovland a lower, more controlled ball flight.  The wide sole helps to keep the head from needlessly digging into the turf.
WEDGES
A little mix of wedges, Hovland uses the Ping Glide 4.0 in his 50 and 56 degree wedges and a Glide 2.0 in his 60 degree wedge.  Hovland uses the Glide 4.0 wedges because of the wider sole that help the transition from his irons into his wedges smoother.
PUTTER
The final stroke counts, and Hovland's putter choice ensured his performance on the greens was top-notch. Hovland is playing with a Ping PLD DS72 prototype putter.  The PLD DS72 has the same shape Hovland used during his amateur days at Oklahoma State.  The only difference is Hovland's putter now features two alignment lines, one on the flange and another on the topline.  This small additional has made it easier for Hovland to align consistently.
