2023’s Hottest Shaft, Graphite Design Tour AD CQ

Graphite Design Tour AD CQ Shaft brings a Mid/High Launch with Mid Spin that will be a must-have in 2023. With many different weight and flex options to choose from, there is a CQ shaft to suit almost any swing.

The Tour AD CQ Shaft utilizes premium, aerospace-quality carbon-fiber materials. It is going to be available in 40g R2, R1, and S flex, 50g R2, R1, S and X flex, 60g SR, S, X, and TX flex, 70g S, X and TX Flex and 80g X flex.

Some say that no golf shaft is more recognizable than a Tour AD. The Tour AD CQ’s glossy clear-coat over jet black with gold and red embellishments is unmistakable.

Features and Technology of Graphite Design Tour AD CQ:

Nitta 2g-Namd Material Technology

The AD CQ features new Nitta 2G-Namd carbon-fiber material technology in the butt section of the shaft. It has a firm bend profile in the handle and center sections with a medium tip section that promotes mid-high launch angles and mid-ball spin rates. The Nitta 2G-Namd material is based on modern carbon nanotube technology that binds the fibers tighter together than standard carbon materials to provide a higher degree of energy transfer through the golf club. It has a more solid impact of the golf ball than a shaft without Nitta 2G-Namd technology.

Carbon Fiber Material

50 ton ultra premium, high modulus aerospace grade quality carbon materials are implemented for lighter weight.

Graphite Design Proprietary Material Stiffness Integration (MSI) Design and Tech

Material Stiffness Integration, or MSI, is the main design concept in which Graphite Design develops its premium golf shafts. Composite materials consist of two main components, graphite fibers and resin. The stiffness of the many different fiber types that graphite utilizes has an impact on how the shaft profile bends in relation to the player’s input during the swing. The resin not only helps to maintain the structural integrity of the shaft but also acts more like a sponge. It is absorbing unwanted vibrations to help create the exquisite feel that Graphite Design shafts are so well known for.

With these proprietary design formulas and combinations of different materials that vary in stiffness, resin content, and fiber volume. Graphite design is able to design shafts that deliver superior feel, perfect accuracy,  and the distance that golfers want from a shaft. The Tour AD CQ will be the most in-demand shaft of 2023.
